He was predeceased by: his parents, Launa Smith and Glenn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Theresa; his daughters, Lyndsay Newman and Savanna McDavid (Scott); his stepsons, Roger Barnette (Danielle), Shane Barnette and Trevor Barnetter; his grandchildren, Brody Newman, Gwyndolyn Newman, Margot McDavid, Eva and Oliver Barnette; and his close friend Little Luke Skywalker.
