With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Christopher Ford (Rogersville, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025 at the age of 57. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Richard may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his father Richard Ray Ford; and his grandparents, Eva, Everett Ford of Princeton, Fred and Joda Warner of Bulls Gap, Tennessee..
He is survived by: his mother Judy Harris (Joe); his brother Ronald (Patricia); his cousin Kathy Warner; and his son Austin Ford. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
A procession was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Christian-Sells Funeral Home (1520 E Main St, Rogersville, TN 37857). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tieke Cemetery McCullough Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Ronald Ford to help with funeral expenses.
