He was predeceased by: his son Bobby Baker; his parents, Kenneth Walter Baker and Jessie Straw Randell; and his siblings, Lavonne Baker, Louie Baker and Jerry Baker.
He is survived by: his wife Trudy Baker; his children, Yvonne Chevrier (Paul) of Indianapolis, Johnny Decker (Missy) of Beech Grove and Larry Baker of Church Hill; and his sister Suzette Whiteshirt of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
