He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Dennis and Charles Rogers; his sister Carol Collins; and his girlfriend Denise Looney. He is survived by: his children, Robert Collins (Jennifer) of Bulls Gap, Anthony Hunter (Rebecca) of Clarksville, Renita Collins of Nashville, Angela Hunter of Nashville, Sharissa Pickett and Linda Collins of Nashville; and his siblings, Barbara Collins of Lebanon, Nettie Williams of Jefferson City, Cheryl Rogers of Baileyton, Tom Collins, Charles Collins of Rogersville, James Rogers of Rogersville and Sam Bowers of Greeneville. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother.
