He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Byrd and Joyce Byrd; and his sister Becky Dean. He is survived by: his son Brandon Byrd; his brothers, Scott Byrd (Lisa) and Marty Byrd; his brother-in-law Mark Dean; his nieces and nephews, Tasha Byrd, David Dillard and Lindsay Owens; his aunt Glenda; his uncle Mack Lane; and his stepsons, Jason Patterson (Angie) and Eddie "Justin" Patterson (Megan).
In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to Johnson – Arrowood Funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
