He was predeceased by : his parents, Dell B. Fathera and Katie V. Nichols Fathera; and his sister Ella Jane Travis. He is survived by : his wife Emily Ruth Burdin Fathera; and his children, Danny Ray Welsh, Eddie Welsh, Jim Fathera, Tammy Welsh, Melissa Singleton and Chrissie Atkin. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
