He is survived by: his wife Virginia Smotherman; his sons, Ricky Paul Smotherman (Suzie) of Murfreesboro and Brian Lee Smotherman (Peggy) of Rockvale; his brother Bobby Smotherman of Murfreesboro; his grandchild Carson Lee Smotherman; his nephew Wayne Barnes of Smithville; his niece Angie Wilkinson of Eagleville; his great-nephew Colby Barnes; and his niece Pam Louallen of Murfreesboro.
