He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Carlton and Eunice Carlton; and his brother Robert Carlton. He is survived by: his wife Judy Carlton; his son Wayne Carlton (Lisa); his siblings, Jerry Carlton (Susan), Patsy Nabors and Judy Hall; and his grandchildren, Dylan Carlton and Isabella Carlton.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery (519 Greenland Dr, Murfreesboro, TN 37130).
