We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2023, at the age of 84, Sally Wall of Rutherford, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Claude Jones Sr. and Sarah Randolph Jones; her former life partner George Snow; her husband Howard D. Wall; and her brother John C. Jones Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Beth O'Brien (Jim) and Randy Snow; her siblings, Carolyn Cook (Jack) and Beverly Jones; her grandchildren, Alice O'Brien Caudill (Ben) and Cameron Snow; her great grandchildren, George Murfree Caudill and Max James Caudill; her nephew John C. Jones III (Tracy); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack, Pruitt, Liza Jane and Mary Margaret; and her niece Scarlett Jones.

Sally and Howard's contribution to Black Fox Elementary is well documented in the school's halls, walls, and offices. Over the years, Sally and Howard liberally supported the new school, with financial donations. buying school and teaching supplies, and opening their home to the faculty and students.

“So sorry to hear of Sally's passing. She and Howard were very generous when they attended St Paul's Episcopal. We enjoyed having desserts at their house during our Progressive Dinners we used to have back in the day. She will be missed! Lovely lady.”
