She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin McLemore and Vera Fisher McLemore; and her siblings, Charles McLemore, Harry Glynn McLemore and Marilyn McLemore.

She is survived by: her husband William H.'Bill'Hester; her children, Patty Hester, Doris Hester and Henry Hester; and her sister Jean Allmon. She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Mrs. Hesters name to First Baptist Church o Rutherford.
