She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Jones and Estelle Jones; her son Billy Hillis; and her sister Emma Jean Lester. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Earl Barrett; and her son Randal Hillis. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Jennings & Ayers Funeral Home (820 S Church St, Murfreesboro, TN 37130). A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
