She was predeceased by: her parents, Gale Peavler and Birdie Peavler; her brothers, George and Dale Peavler; her brother-in-law Rick Owens; and her close friends, Margaret Southerland and Sherry Sweeney.
She is survived by: her sons, Dale Johnson (Nicole) and Dewayne Johnson (Adrienne); her grandchildren, Asher, Elena, Kaitlyn, Eli and Madelyn Johnson; and her siblings, Nina Owens and David Peavler (Cosby). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and adopted sons and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made towards her funeral arrangements.
