Ronald Lee Hackney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Lee Hackney of Rutledge, Tennessee, born in Pikeville, Kentucky, who passed away on July 22, 2025 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ronald Lee Hackney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Hackney and June Ratliff Hackney; and his sisters, Julia "Susie" White and Dorothy Ratliff. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Rife Hackney; his children, Larry Hackney and Leisa Hackney; his brother Don "Verna" Hackney; his brother-in-law Charlie "Dale" Ratliff; and his pet Molly. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Stetzer-Bales Funeral Home (146 E Main St, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery (2200 E Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920).
