He is survived by: his son Steve Hixon Jr.; his daughter-in-law Leeann Hixon; his grandchildren, AJ and Gladys Hixon; his mother-in-law Easter Greene; his sisters, Connie Majors Lamb, Pat (James Arnold), Doris Hixon and Eva Hixon; and his pet Blondie.
