“Miss Ray was my fourth grade teacher at the old Sale Creek School. She was smart, enthusiastic, encouraging and fun. She made learning fun. She was everything a young girl needed in her teacher. Looking back I realize that Miss Ray was a lady, with integrity, manners and honor. Although Elizabeth has left this earth for heaven, she lives on in the memories and in the characters she instilled in her family, her friends, her community, and in hundreds of students like me. Well done!”
