It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Leon Smith of Sale Creek, Tennessee, born in Jasper, Tennessee, who passed away on May 14, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Jones and Lindsey Smith; his stepfather Andy Jones; and his siblings, Harold Smith, J. L. Smith, Elbert Smith and Louise Beene.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Fink (Tony), Rebekah O'Bryant, Mike Smith (Tonia) and Mark Smith; his grandchildren, Angelicah Baldwin, Chris Smith, Grant Fink and Makinley Smith; and his sisters, Shirley Miranda and Beverly Hampton. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
