She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Blankenship and Grace Blankenship; and her siblings, Mike Blankenship, Ray Blankenship, Betty Jean McCoy and Linda Sue Oakley.

She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Vanhoose; her children, Rodney Vanhoose (Monica) of Counce, Tennessee and Kristy Phillips (Lance) of Savannah, Tennessee.; and her grandchildren, Grace Vanhoose, Andrew Vanhoose, Emma Morgan, Bailey Duncan (Bryce) and Hunter Phillips. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
