He was predeceased by : his wife Sue K. Cobb; his parents, Harry E. Cobb, Sr. and Katherine Weaver Cobb (Kay); his brother Raymond W. Cobb; and his niece Katherine Crudup Slate.

He is survived by : his sister Margaret C. Robinson (Malcolm); his nephew Ed W. Crudup, III (Val); his niece Leslie C. Rochester (David); his sister-in-law Liz J. Cobb; and his nieces, Christian C. Mosteller (Jonathon), Amy Bounds (Tony) and Megan Black (Jason).
