He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Gilbert Barnes (Gib) and Bonnie Ruth Horton Barnes; and his sister Nina Jarrett. He is survived by: his sisters, Dot King of Adamsville, TN and Lisa Watson (David) of Cumming, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
