Charles Stewart Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2025, at the age of 59, Charles Stewart (Savannah, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Deroy Stewart; and his sister Rebecca Droke (David Droke). He is survived by: his mother Mary Joyce Stewart of Savannah, Tennessee; his son Brad Stewart (Cesilie) of Saint Johns, Florida; his siblings, Matt Stewart of Vancouver, Washington, Nancy Crumby (Jim) of Savannah, Carol Carpenter of Nashville and Amy Crossman (Donald) of Nashville, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Faith and Judah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at the Memory Gardens of Hardin County (17361 TN-69, Savannah, TN 38372).
