He was predeceased by: his parents, Huse Vanell and Ethel Kelly Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Hicks; his daughters, Rebecca Holloway (Keith), Brandy Collins (Bobby), Danette Bailey (Jim), Julia Kimmons (Curt) and Melissa Hampton (Edwin); and his sister Dorothy Calvary. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
