He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Martin and Golden Heath Daniel Pirtle; his wife Patricia Whitfield; his stepson Glen William Turner; and his siblings, Irene Pirtle, Dutch Pirtle, Rudolph Pirtle, Ray Pirtle, Harvey Daniel, Vernon Daniel, Earl Pirtle and Junior Pirtle.
He is survived by: his sons, Harold Don Pirtle (Lana), Darryl Jon Pirtle (Mickie) and David Neal Pirtle; his sister Sue Wiles; his grandchildren, Allen Turner, Brooke Fulton (Elijah), Chris Pirtle (Renata), Whitney Gravelle (Josh), Sara Clark, Caige Pirtle, Madison Pirtle, Nathan Pirtle (Lauren), Michael Pirtle, Jonathan Pirtle (Mckenzi) and Angel Pirtle; and his great grandchildren, Colt, Jacob, Kane, Korbin, Brooks, Charlee, Beckham, Ella, Grady, Darcie, Lason and Liza.
