He was predeceased by: his mother Zella Beckham; and his daughter Sherry Thompson (Jim). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Beckham; his daughters, Melinda Gray (Stacey) and Lorrie Cooksey (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Emily Tosh (Nathan), Ryan Gray, Annslee Cooksey, Beckham Cooksey, Sarah Thompson Adams, Emma Claire Thompson, Farrow Kate Thompson and Ashtyn Thompson; his great grandchildren, Locklyn Adams and Noah David Tosh; and his sister Bettye Crow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at the Neill Cemetery (605 Neill Cemetery Dr, Savannah, TN 38372).
