He was predeceased by : his parents, Bobby Dean and Mildred Scott Barrier; and his siblings, Aaron Glen Barrier, Dewey Barrier, Cathy LaRue and Bobbie Ann Swaffer.

He is survived by : his daughters, Natalie Barrier Mclin (Scottie) of Savannah, Tennessee and Julie Barrier Linville (Bryan) of Savannah, Tennessee; his stepchildren, Mikelby Morrison of Savannah, Tennessee and Michael Morrison, Jr. of Alabama; his sister Debra White (Steve) of Alabama; and his close friend Brandy McClain. He is also survived by three grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, May 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service was held on Sunday, May 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, May 12th 2024 at the White's Creek Cemetery.
