He was predeceased by : his parents, Gene Norval and Pauline Norval; and his brother Denny Wayne Norval. He is survived by : his wife Joann Norval of Savannah, Tennessee; his children, Tammy Norval Weihl (Andrew) of Arlington, Tennessee and Joe Norval (Terri) of Bruceton, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Kayla Chandler, Jessica Butler, Delaina Merrell and Matthew Weihl; and his great grandchildren, Averie Chandler, Bowden Butler, Tucker Chandler, Hope Butler and Caleb Butler.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery (1780 Mt Herman Rd, Savannah, TN 38372).
