He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. Higgins and Lorene Higgins; his sons, Anthony Higgins, Rickey Higgins and Daniel Higgins; his brother Bruce Higgins; and his grandparents, Robert, Bessie Haynes, Dwelling and Cassie Higgins.
He is survived by: his brothers, Merle Higgins, Freddy Higgins (Annice) and Douglas Higgins (Linda). He is also survived by five grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
