She is survived by: her children, Will Hurst (Carol), Tom Hurst and Emily Cruz (Vincent); and her grandchildren, Raegen Hurst, Luke Hurst, Benjamin Cruz, Bruce Marcotte, Cloe Marcotte Pallbearers, Will Hurst, Tom Hurst, Blake Eaves, Roger Harville and Carl Wise. She is also survived by her parents, uncle, and aunt.

“I knew Grace through her volunteer work with the American Legion Auxiliary a member for over 70 years. She actually found the original Charter of the Savanah American Legion Post in the trash on the side of the road. She turned it into a Past Department Commander who revitalized the Savanah post. She loved birds and living in the country. She was a real character who also had real character. She is missed.”
