He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willie and Clara Mae Harris Wright; and his brother Robert Wright. He is survived by: his wife Linda Susan Beaty; his sons, Jonathan Wright and Patrick Wright; and his brother Charles Wright.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church (6095 TN-226, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at the Memory Gardens of Hardin County (17361 TN-69, Savannah, TN 38372).
