She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burnice "Bud" Gray and Mable Pearl Palmer Gray; her former husband Lawrence William Stricklin; and her brothers, Jones B. Gray of Savannah, Tennessee. and Bobby Gene Gray of Savannah, Tennessee..
She is survived by: her husband James Glenn "Jimmy" Nesbitt; her son Jerone Trent Stricklin; her grandson William Trent Stricklin of Savannah, Tennessee; her siblings, Annie Pearl Estell (Gene) of Savannah and Larry Wayne Gray (Barbara) of Iuka, Mississippi; and her grandson Will. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Neill Cemetery (605 Neill Cemetery Dr, Savannah, TN 38372).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Mountain View Church of Christ or the American Heart Association.
