She was predeceased by: her parents, James Cornelius and Nina Inez Nash Young; her siblings, Jimmy Neal Young, Mary Lou Young, Ruby Fay Robbins and Betty Katherine Smith; her grandparents, Mary Tedford, William Young, Lula Roxana and Sylvester Nash; and her aunt Margaret Patton.
She is survived by: her husband Thomas Blanton; her daughters, Ronnica Dawn Ricketts (David), Mary Ann Glidewell (Michael) and Shellie Margaret DeLaney (Jonathan); her siblings, Thomas Richard Young, Dorothy May Amerson and Marylon Elain Brock; and her grandchildren, Mitchell Ricketts, Ridge Ricketts, Michaela Glidewell, Eli Glidewell, Waylon Glidewell and Wyattleigh DeLaney.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at the Ledbetter Cemetery (198 Ledbetter Cemetery Ln, Adamsville, TN 38310).
