It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Michael Johnson (Savannah, Tennessee), born in Tacoma, Washington, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, E. W. Johnson and Sarah Estelle Hayes Johnson; and his siblings, Deborah Johnson, Eddie W. Johnson and Jerry W. Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Benson of Savannah, Tennessee; his daughter Rachel Thompson of Renton, Washington; his stepchildren, Karen Benson of Adamsville and James Copeland of Crump, Tennessee; and his siblings, Joyce Ayers (John W.) of Hampton, Virginia, Dave Johnson (Catherine) of Morris Chapel, Donald Johnson (Barbara) of Savannah and Tony Johnson (Jovey) of Detroit, Michigan.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
