He was predeceased by: his parents, Price Andrew and Altie Kiddy Reed; his son Chuck Reed; his siblings, Maysel Baker, Artie Mae Hubbard, R. D. Reed and Albert Reed; and his grandson Floyd Mancell.
He is survived by: his wife Linda M. Reed of Savannah, Tennessee; his children, Ricky Reed, Sr. of San Antonio, Texas and Deborah Reed Mancell of Savannah, Tennessee; and his stepchildren, Vicki Hunt of Savannah, Pamela Carroll of Adamsville, Tennessee and Larry Pickens (Troy) of Michie, Tennessee. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
