He is survived by: his wife Karen Ann Gray of Savannah; his children, Robin Gray of Memphis, Daniel "Scott" Gray of Memphis, John "Phillip" Gray of Memphis and Amanda Gray Acosta of Savannah, Tennessee; his stepdaughter Tammy Knight of Oakland, Tennessee; and his sister Mariallie Smithson of Greenville, Tennessee.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
