He is survived by: his brother James Hightower; his grandchildren, Melissa Hightower, Ricky D. Hightower, Shelby Doepker and Jacob Hightower; his nephew Jon Elkins; and his great grandchildren, River Bell, Wyatt Hightower, Jace Hightower, Waylon Hightower and Ava Hightower.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Rocky Springs Cemetery (215 Rocky Springs Rd, Jackson, TN 38301).
