She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Edward and Dora Irene Brown Thompson; her son Mark Duane Armstrong; and her siblings, Mary McKenzie, Corene Beard, Robert Franklin Thompson and Eddie Milam.
She is survived by: her daughter Misti Armstrong (Brian Clasen); her grandchildren, Joey Armstrong, Brian Clasen, Jr., Emily Clasen, Lizzie Flagg, Brent Odum, Cody Armstrong and Marcie Armstrong (Chastain); and her great grandchildren, Alexandria, Levi, Nora and Billie.
