She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley and Rosa Copeland Hosea; her husband Jack Wright Pitts of Cerro Gordo; and her brother Herbert Nuel Hosea. She is survived by: her daughters, Madelyn Keith (Maxie) and Marcia Tedford (David); her granddaughter Leslie Ann Emison (Jay); and her great grandchildren, Scarlett Madelyn Emison, Lorelei Claire Emison and Jack Theophilus Emison.
