He was predeceased by: his parents, Ether McGee and Verlon McCain McGee; his siblings, Dorothy Wilkins and Rlander McGee; and his brothers-in-law, Otis White and L. C. Wilkins.
He is survived by: his wife Tila McGee of Michie, Tennessee; his son Hunter Blake Morris; his stepchildren, Wayde Melson (Stacey) of Michie, Tennessee and Samantha Melson (Jarvis Weatherly) of Savannah, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Hayleigh (Tyler), Kyler, Emma, Westin, Kynleigh, Malanna, Ashantii, Kingston and Kyndrick; his great grandchild Mylai; and his siblings, Judy White and Rex A. McGee. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM at the Counce First United Pentecostal Church (2125 TN-57, Counce, TN 38326). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at the Pisgah Cemetery - Shiloh (350 Childers Hill Dr, Michie, TN 38376).
