He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Gray and Ruby Ferrell Gray; and his brothers, Joe and Donnie Gray. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Merinda Dockery of Savannah; his son Robert Gray, II; and his sisters, Betty Perry (Gray) and Bonnie Walker (Gray).
