It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Bernice Phillips (Savannah, Tennessee), born in Plantersville, Texas, who passed away on December 22, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Merdian and Annie Winkler Merdian; her husband Daniel J. Phillips; and her sister Lorraine Allphin. She is survived by: her sons, Craig A. Phillips (Diana H.) of Savannah, Tennessee, Gary Phillips (Lisa) of Savannah, Tennessee and Kevin Phillips (Pam) of Savannah, Tennessee; her sister Ester Merdian Brewer of Navasota, Texas; her grandchildren, Justin Phillips, Danielle Zulli, Lauren Netzel, Hannah Phillips and Houston Phillips; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Zulli, Kaden Phillips, Charlotte Netzel, Greyson Netzel, Claire Zulli and Sadie Netzel.
