With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samuel Ervin Sr. (Savannah, Tennessee), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Columbus and Donnie Parson Ervin; and his siblings, Verble Pilkinton, Joe Ervin, Gerald Ervin, Jean Timbs, Leadrew Ervin and Ann Goad.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ervin of Adamsville, TN; his sons, Sam Ervin Jr. (Belinda) of Adamsville, TN and Larry Ervin (Paulette) of Finger, TN; his grandchildren, Sunny, Max, Jack Ervin, Jessica Jarvis, Audra Ferguson (Jacob) and Maggie Ervin; and his great grandchildren, Maci, Autumn, Blakelyn and Bobbie Grace Jarvis.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Adamsville (303 Old Stage Rd, Adamsville, TN 38310). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Mars Hill Cemetery (5948 Leapwood Enville Rd, Adamsville, TN 38310).
