We announce the death of Wallace Guymon Young (Savannah, Tennessee), who passed away on August 22, 2026, at the age of 86. Wallace will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Pilkington; and his siblings, Alton Young, Danny Young and Shirley Ables. He is survived by: his daughter Pam Seaton (Derick); his grandsons, Corey Seaton (Melissa), Ryan Seaton and Tyler Seaton (Cassie); his great grandchildren, Maverick Seaton, Wrenley Seaton, Barrett Seaton and Rhodes Seaton; his siblings, Marilyn Sue Hill, Rabon Young, Billy Young, Carolyn Holcombe, Doug Young, Neva Ireland, Bruce Young and Charlotte Nance; and his stepchildren, Kim Sutphin (David), Michael Pilkington (Shelly) and Edward Pilkington.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shackelford Funeral Directors - Savannah (450 Church St, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at the Campground Cemetery (1400 Campground Rd, Savannah, TN 38372).
