We announce the death of William Larry Roser (Savannah, Tennessee), who passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 83. William will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his grandson Cliff Edward Roser; his mother C. E. Roser; and his grandson Cliff Roser. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jane Chisholm; his children, Chris Roser (Mindy) and Jane Ann Gobbell (Stephen); his grandchildren, Crestus William Roser, Karlie Roser Carroll (Jake), Stephen M. Gobbell, II (Mollie), David Chisholm Gobbell (Makena) and Calvin Thomas Gobbell (Leandra); and his great grandchildren, Sadie, Charli, Brooks, Lacey Ann, Claire, Swayze, Chisholm, James and Caroline.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hopewell Baptist Church (9845 TN-128, Savannah, TN 38372). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at the Savannah Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Darryl Worley Cancer Center or charity of your choice.
