It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Georgia Mooney Tate of Scotts Hill, Tennessee, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Davie Mooney and Grapel Allen Mooney; and her sister Mary Lou Miller (Odell). She is survived by: her daughters, Donna Rushing (Steve) and Sonya McLin (Brian); her grandsons, Adam Rushing (Shelby) and Zachary McLin (Turner); her great grandchildren, Zander and Renlee McLin; and her siblings, Lowell Mooney (Loretta), Marlene Brown (Ronnie), Carolyn Barker (Junior), Noel Mooney (Wanda), Sandra Mooney, Rebecca Mooney Howard, David Mooney (Brenda) and Cheryl Moody (Dennis).
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Pafford Funeral Home - Scotts Hill (10145 TN-100, Scotts Hill, TN 38374).
