JoAnn Blakney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of JoAnn Blakney of Scotts Hill, Tennessee, born in Freeburn, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 11, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fannie Johnson and Patrick Noe; her grandparents, Seymor Johnson and Mary Johnson; her cousin Jesse Hall; her aunt Bessie; her husband Lonnie N. Blakney; and her brother Archie Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Collins (Matthew), Fayela Gisele Blakney and Jeffrey N. Blakney (Delinda); and her great grandchildren, Sky, Mia, Lili, Isabela, Coy and Cash. She is also survived by her Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
