He was predeceased by: his parents, James Reuben of Fiddler's Contests and Mable Wilkins Scott; his brother Jimmy Scott; and his granddaughter Bethany Gwenn Maness. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Morgan (Lynn), Jennifer Blackwell (Jimmy Don) and Darrell Scott (Mary Beth); his siblings, Marty Scott (Janice) and Shirley Kelley; and his sister-in-law Betty Scott. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
