She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Powers and Maggie Dunavant Powers; her husband Joe Walter Shutt; and her son James Shutt. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie Shutt (Darlene) and Tammie Martin; and her grandchildren, Michelle Snyder (Chris), Danhyell Pilkington (John), Wesley Shutt (Stacey), Felisha Seymour (Kevin) and Ethan Martin (Monica). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
