Barbara Jo Dunaway Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Jo Dunaway of Selmer, Tennessee, who passed away on November 1, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice McCullar Basinger and Earl Basinger; her former husband James Ruble Dunaway; her grandson Matthew Hill; her sister Betty Jane Basinger Doss; her brother-in-law Horner Lamar Doss; her brother Billy Wayne Basinger; and her siblings-in-law, Nona Goodrum (Pete) and Johnny Dunaway (Earlene).

She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Dunaway Hill; her husband David Edwin Hill; her great grandchild Reid; Andrew Edwin Hill and Caroline Watson Hill.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist church in Selmer, TN.
