He was predeceased by: his parents, Graper Youngerman and Olivia Youngerman; his wife Kate Youngerman; his son Lee Youngerman; and his sister Joy.

He is survived by: his son Alan Youngerman; and his grandsons, Bryce Youngerman (Krystin) and Reed Youngerman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Selmer First United Methodist Church, or to the Youngerman Endowment at UT Martin.
