He was predeceased by: his parents, Casey Nixon and Annie Lou King Nixon; and his brother James Nixon (Butch). He is survived by: his sister Shirley Rowland (Joe) of Hornsby, Tennessee; his sibling's children, Debbie Moore of Henderson, Tina Moody of Memphis, Terry Kirby of Jackson and Keith Rowland; Carol of Bethel Springs.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the McCalips Chapel Cemetery (5280 Rose Creek Rd, Hornsby, TN 38044).
