We are sad to announce that, on April 22, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Margaretta Cook of Selmer, Tennessee, born in San Antonio, Texas. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Miles and Exie Parker; her stepfather Oscar VonAxelson; her cousin Billy Brown; her aunt Mary Vernie Parker; and her uncles, Larence Parker and Oliver Parker.

She is survived by: her husband Steve Cook; her daughter Melanie Martin; her stepdaughter Kelly Turman (Thomas); her grandchildren, Britney, Alyssa, Star and Brantley; her great grandchild Darrell; her mother Gloria VonAxelson; her siblings, Becky Flood (Mark) and Joseph VonAxelson (Belinda); and her pet Rip. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins; other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to offset some of the healthcare expenses.
